So disappointed…

Just weighed myself for the first time since doing all the exercises and diet and only lost 1 bloody pound. Oh well, shows I’m not working hard enough and having that ‘bad day’ is not helpful at all.

I’m going to start not only doing the gym but do my best with my Insanity workout- though I won’t lie it is really hard! I’m going to keep eating well and see what happens.

I definitely feel a change in my body and skin, so even though I haven’t lost really anything, my body feels a bit tighter.

I need to keep thinking to myself this is not a step back! This is something that will push me even more.

Feeling positive

So went to the gym again and did a lot better! I’m feeling better about my workouts and eating well even though I had a crap day yesterday of eating. But I’m going to have those days. I am eating a lot of eggs atm and still taking my shake so hopefully within the next couple of weeks I will start to see an improvement.

My measurements are:

Belly: 34

Hips: 44

Thighs: 26

Arms: 13

BMI: 26

My lifestyle: basically eat a lot of takeaway most weeks, chocolate, basically anything yummy! I find it hard to cook, everything I seem to cook never really turns our the way I want it too. But I need to learn. Bertie is starting to eat proper food now and I want to give him the nutrition he needs and to do that I need to start cooking smart. There’s loads of recipes I want to try! I struggle with sugar so definitely need a healthy alternative, I will post all my findings on here 🙂

Does shakes really work?

I’ve never tried a protein shake before that is designed to help you lose weight. So for cheapness and reviews I am giving The Slender Blend ago, but not as a dish alternative. I’m going to use it to help ease my snacking as that is a massive part of my weight gain. It’s £12 at Sainsbury’s so not overly expensive if you only have one shake a day which is what I am going to do. The taste is great! Even with adding water. I’ve had it once, yesterday, so I’ll see how it goes!

Hi, my name is Jade and I am your average person. Teacher, mummy of one and put on quite a bit of weight since lock down. I’ve read a lot, watched a lot, and eaten a lot this year!

As you are probably wondering, I have gained two stone since the first lock down. I have a nine month baby boy who I adore. No I did not put weight on because of him, as he did not burst our of my vagina. Instead, my wife had our first baby, but I gained the weight that she should of! Sods law really. So that’s me, my goal is to get toned up, feel better and healthier in every way. This means I can be a better mum to Bertie as I will have more energy and just feel even more happier than I am.

I don’t have a lot of money, so everything I do will be cheap! I want to see what is good and what’s not good to lose weight and get healthy! So things might work, some things won’t, this is what my blog is about. Exploring the world of ‘health’!
